Pemba Sherpa.
“I don't just show places — I help travelers understand the stories, people, and spirit behind them.”
Born of the High Peaks
My story began in the shadow of Ama Dablam, in a village where the air is thin but the traditions are deep. For generations, my family has navigated these trails not as challenges to be conquered, but as old friends to be respected. Growing up, the mountains were my playground, my school, and eventually, my calling.
I chose guiding because I saw a gap between the summit-hungry tourism and the soul of the Himalayas. To me, a journey is successful not when we reach the highest point, but when we reach a deeper understanding of the land and ourselves.
My philosophy is rooted in “showing the spirit behind the places.” Whether it's sharing a butter tea with a village elder or finding the specific bend in the trail where the wind whispers ancient secrets, I aim to weave a narrative that stays with you long after you descend.

Off the Clock
“When I'm not on the trail, you'll likely find me at Yangri's Tea Spot in Namche, or sketching the peaks from my balcony.”
